So, apparently I haven't written anything on here in more than a year. That's a little bit astounding, but I've been busy... Also my dog ate my keyboard...

The truth is that the past two years have been eventful, but not terribly fascinating. I've been travelling, working, and doing a lot of random things. Here's a sampler:

The Band - I ended up playing with a band I met through Craigslist, and we did a bunch of shows around Madison under the name Piano Piano Explode. Our drummer recently went back to school, so he's too busy to play, and we've more or less decided that we're done with the project for the immediate future. We did some recordings that may or may not see the light of day. They're basically done, so I'm willing to bet they'll at least show up on MySpace somewhere.

The Job - The less said, the better for now. I'm betting it won't be around for much longer. Here's hoping I don't get Dooced!

The Other Stuff - I've been working on a few different artsy projects, including beefing up my original guitar writing and laying the groundwork for a very, very big internet project that will probably happen eventually. It's big, so it'll take a lot of work.

The major decision in the future now is whether I'm going back to school or back out into international waters. It's a big decision, and I'm mulling my options and contacting various people who are in the know about that stuff.

I plan on writing more as soon as the major bolus of this stuff gets settled. More entertaining stuff, at the very least.

Yeah, I'm sorry I haven't called in a while. I actually, umm, my voicemail isn't working right? You know... so maybe I didn't... umm... like... get the message on time, or something.

But yeah, time flies! You look great? Have you been working out? Somebody told me you were "2.0" or something. I'm really excited for you... yeah...

[awkward silence]

So, umm... I should be getting back to some... some stuff I have to... you know... do. But it was SO GREAT to SEE YOU AGAIN! We should totally talk more! Is your number still the same? Yeah, don't worry, I've got it in here somewhere! You take care!

Today, a gentleman on an American Airlines from Boston to Los Angeles stripped naked, got dressed again, and then attempted to open the emergency exit door. He was then "subdued" by theNew England Revolution soccer team who were also on board.

Yo. I thought I was dead, too. Guess we were all wrong.
